1.9.9.5. could very well be the future of French rap ! Nothing less. A large section of connaisseurs already have their eyes upon this crew of six boys with a promising future, ready to tackle this big challenge. Consisting of 5 MCs (Alpha Wann, Sneazzy West, Areno Jazz, Nekfeu, Fonky Flav) and one DJ (DJ Lo), these young Parisians have already been creating a buzz for several months. Their freestyle and battles and tracks “Dans ta Réssoi“ and “A la Trappe“ are gathering Youtube views and we eagerly await their first official release on the label Zoxea des Sages Poètes de La Rue. But even with their eyes firmly on the future, 1995 are also inspired by the best old school sounds (they were christened 1995 in reference to the golden years of French rap). A first unmissable festival appearance at the Ardentes this summer.
