Mika, the prince of pop will headline the Ardentes on Sunday 10 July. With global hits and great concerts full of perfection and pleasure, Mika is a truly exceptional artist and performer. Born in Beirut in the mid 80s, Mika left his native country to live in Paris with all his family. It was just a quick stop, as his father soon found himself being transferred to London. Self-taught unparalleled pianist, at 19, Mika decided to launch his career. With already several potential hits in the bag, he visited all the record labels who didn’t immediately recognise his talent. Nobody knew how to market him, judging him too “different”. But it didn’t take too long for his talent to shine through and for Mika fever to take over the planet. Such instant classic hits as “Relax, Take it Easy”, “Grace Kelly”, “We Are Golden”, “Big Girls”, “Blame it on the Girls” and “Love Today” placed Mika firmly amongst the international stars. He will make his only appearance in Belgium this Summer at the Ardentes!
