OZARK HENRY ( - BE)
After two years of silence Piet Goddaer has written a new page in the story of his alter ego Ozark Henry, with the release of his new album “Hvelreki”. Absent since the release of multi-platinum “Soft Machine”, Piet has profited from this break by travelling, reflecting and especially by writing. “Hvelreki” (an Icelandic expression used to wish good luck to someone) was composed during his travels, which instilled his songs with a gripping but sincere sentiment of escapism. On this occasion he worked with British producer Youth, known for his collaborations with, amongst others, The Verve, U2, Depeche Mode and Paul McCartney. It’s a long awaited return for this talented Belgian artist, since his appearance at Les Ardentes in 2009, so it will be a reinvented Ozark Henry that the festival crowd will have the pleasure of rediscovering.
