PUGGY ( - BE)
Everyone by now knows the unusual story of Puggy, hit of the year both on record and live, and the group the whole of France envies. English singer (Matthew Irons), French bassist (Romain Descampe) and Swedish drummer (Egil “Ziggy” Franzén) met each other while studying music in Antwerp and living in Brussels. The group released their first album “Dubois Died Today”, and following an incredible competition, accompanied Incubus on their European tour. In February 2008, Smashing Pumpkins chose them as support act at Paris-Bercy, but the best was yet to come with the release of second album “Something You Might Like” creating a tidal-wave of success and making Puggy the phenomenon they are today. Carried along by the singles “When You Know” and “I Do”, hyper –enthusiastic concerts and a growing fanbase, their concert at Les Ardentes this summer is not to be missed!
