Breakthrough live act at the last Circuit Competition, Sinus George has rapidly evolved since his acoustic country-folk beginnings. Today the group offer up a festive formula made up of trumpets, strings and percussion with jazzy, rock and hip-hop sounds. The guitar-vocal compositions of Julien Toussaint are a succession of personal reflections, sentiments or memories, some very joyful, others more bitter. “Sinus is the sick side of me and Georges is the positive side. It’s a name that makes me think of somebody in fine health who smiles all the time”, he explains. This recipe has opened the doors to the most prestigious Francophone festivals for the group this summer, with the Ardentes at the top!
