TECHNASIA ( - FR)
A symbol of globalised culture, the infinite new technical and artistic possibilities arising from the arrival of the internet, the ex-duo Technasia was born in 1996 with the meeting of Hong-Kong native Amil Khan and French Charles Siegling. Internet developed and gave our two accomplices the new opportunity to work apart to produce their shared music while being thousands of kilometres away from each other. After five devastating singles and establishing themselves as the unstoppable new hope on the techno scene, Technasia released the now classic “Future Mix” in 2001. Produced like a radio broadcast, interrupted by ads and Chinese jingles, the record offers up uncompromised and really dancey melodic techno. In 2008, Amil Khan took a family break which still continues. Alone on the controls, Charles Siegling is back with Technasia on the shelves and “Central”, the third album made up of deep and warm tracks.
