The Wu-Tang Clan, East Coast hip-hop icons will also be on the bill of Les Ardentes 2011, on Friday the 8th of July. Method Man (present at Les Ardentes 2009 with Redman), Ghostface Killah, GZA, RZA, U-God, Raekwon, Masta Killa, Inspectah Deck et the late Ol' Dirty Bastard, made a mark on rap history at the start of the nineties, replacing New York on the hip-hop map and dominating with the West Coast. Via landmark albums like « Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) », « Wu-Tang Forever », and « The W », the Clan put their stamp on the US hip-hop world and have become one of its most important and respected outfits.
