Les Ardentes is also a festival concerned with the environment.
LES ARDENTES use returnable glasses
Ardentes drinking glasses will be returnable from now on!
Especially designed for the occasion, the glasses are reusable, both at the festival and at home!
Results of this substantial investment:
- A huge decrease in production of waste
- A cleaner site
How does it work?
There will be two types of glass:
- Glass: 25cl and 50cl
- Carafe: 140cl (only for beer//5 and a half glasses for the price of 5)
The system is simple :
- All drinks served in festival bars (except plastic bottles) are concerned
- Deposit of 1 drinks ticket/coin per glass or carafe
- For each order, once the deposit is returned, the used glass will be exchanged for a new one
- Deposits may be retrieved at any time by returning your glass to any festival ticket booth
- Burdened with glasses? Glass carriers will be available on site
- Glasses will be washed daily on site
We are working in collaboration with FostPlus for the management of waste like glass, cardboard and recyclables.
Sixty or so people are involved in cleaning the site each morning and are well informed on waste management.
Information will be distributed around the site highlighting environmental concerns and the appropriate waste facilities distributed throughout.
“Eco Zones” will also be placed throughout the festival site.
